Anna Maria Alberghetti's success as an actress began when she was a mere 15 years old. In 1950, she performed at Carnegie Hall. Alberghetti began her acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Bing Crosby comedy "Here Comes the Groom" (1951), "The Medium" (1951) and "The Last Command" (1955). She had an early role on the television special "The Bob Hope Show (03/09/52)" (NBC, 1951-52). In the fifties, Alberghetti devoted her time to various credits, such as "Ten Thousand Bedrooms" (1956), "DuPont Show of the Month" (CBS, 1957-1961) and "Roberta" (NBC, 1958-59). She also worked on "The Desilu Playhouse" (CBS, 1958-1960). Alberghetti took on film roles in more recent years, appearing in the Jerry Lewis comedy "Cinderfella" (1960) and "Friends and Family" (2003) with Greg Lauren. Additionally, she appeared on the television special "Kismet" (ABC, 1967-68). Most recently, Alberghetti acted in the Stanley Tucci comedy "The Whole Shebang" (2005).
